Improvements

• Optimierung im Bereich der Verwaltung von Bildern.

New features

• The program now distinguishes between the “Assign Alias Pages (Keep Content)” option and the “Assign Alias Pages (Overwrite Content)” option when assigning Alias pages via the context menu in the Pages palette. Please refer to the explanations in the manual, which has been updated accordingly.

InDesign Import Improvements

Summary:

• Official Release of Version 9.5 (VD, VN, VI, VP)
• The update is free of charge for all users of 9.0
• All 9.0 license files or license codes can be used for 9.5
• This update is optional, but strongly recommended, since as well as including new functions it offers many improvements and bugfixes.
• Important Notice: The file format has changed between 9.0 and 9.5. This means that you can not open documents that are saved with 9.5 in Version 9.0.

User Interface

• Identical Interfaces for dialogs and palettes. (VD, VN, VI, VP)
• Multiple workspaces for sorting the different palettes on the monitor. (VD, VN)
• Documents are shown as tabs. (VD, VN, VI, VP)
• The program shows a tool tip with the file path when the mouse is positioned over the tab window title. (VD, VN, VI, VP)

• Improved RTF Import (Support for Small Caps, All Caps, Superior and Inferior). (VD, VN)

Miscellaneous:

• Extended color management with screen proof and tool tip for the color management in the program preferences. (VD, VN, VI, VP)
• Supplies the example documents via the VivaCloud. The example documents are therefore downloaded when they are opened. This may take a little while depending on the file size and Internet connection. (VD, VN)
• Registration via the HTTPS protocol. (VD, VN, VI, VP)
• The MathML AddIn is now available in the Free Edition and the Demo version. (VD, VN)
• Additional storage of object notes in XML as user info. (VD, VN)

Output:

• New and partly improved management of templates for printing and export including saving a file in the Preferences folder. (VD, VN)

PDF Export:

• Extensive improvements in handling color profiles. (VD, VN, VI, VP)
• New features for treating colors when using color profiles. (VD, VN, VI, VP)
